Aluminium billet homogenizing furnace is used for heat treatment billet between 570~620 degree for uniform heat treatment, improve aluminium billet extrusion performance,improve quality.

The working principle of the aluminium billet homogenizing furnace mainly includes two main processes: heating and cooling. ‌‌

The aluminum billet homogenizing furnace mainly consists of  homogenization chamber, three-dimensional material cart, and cooling chamber. Firstly, the aluminum billet is heated to specific temperature in the homogenization chamber, usually 570 ℃, and then rapidly cooled in short period of time to ensure efficient homogenization of the aluminum billet. During the heating process, the aluminum billet generates alternating magnetic field in the induction coil through induction heating, using power frequency current to generate induced current (eddy current) inside the aluminum billet. The eddy current flows inside the aluminum billet and generates Joule heat, thereby heating up the aluminum billet itself.

The main function of the homogenization furnace is to eliminate stress inside the aluminum billet, reduce segregation, improve the plasticity of the aluminum billet, and reduce extrusion resistance. Through homogenization treatment, the metallographic structure of the aluminum billet becomes more uniform, thereby improving the overall performance of the material.
